The S3: Science, Safety, Security project is a collaboration of United States Government departments and agencies intended to further biorisk management education across a range of stakeholders. The website is maintained by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and includes information from a broad range of Federal agencies that have responsibility for and oversight of with with hazardous biological agents in laboratory facilities.
The goal of the S3 website is to promote communication, transparency, and awareness about biosafety, biocontainment, and laboratory biosecurity issues and activities in laboratories. ​
